Mrs Fatma was a wonderful host who coordinated our day trips to Abu Simbel and the return to Luxor with ease; the drivers were pleasant and helpful, exceeding expectations, and she even handled our laundry; the place is very convenient, unlike typical western standards, and the sunrise view over the Nile from her balcony is spectacular, though it’s only 15£E (30¢ US$) to get close to downtown by boat; don’t expect a 5‑star hotel—this is a B&B that offers the best value.
