The hotel was lovely, the staff friendly, and the location great. I was upgraded to a better room when I arrived, which I appreciated. I had expected a gym on site based on my booking, but it turns out the gym is actually over the road in the centre – maybe I misread the listing.

The spa was excellent, but the mattress was terrible and uncomfortable. The room door rattled, letting every conversation outside slip in.

A beautiful building in a very central location. We stayed in a room with a fabulous jacuzzi bath. The furnishings were very tasteful and the food was very good. Nothing to complain about.
