Located at the entrance to the Mlynická Valley, Hotel FIS offers mountain-style accommodation near Štrbské Lake in the High Tatras. Ski slopes, cross-country tracks, and hiking trails are within 50 metres. Free Wi-Fi is available in some rooms, and a wellness centre is complimentary. The hotel features a restaurant, lobby bar, spa, gym, sports hall, and dog-friendly rooms with private balconies and bathrooms.

The big bonus was that tickets for the cable car and aquapark were included, making the stay worthwhile even with poorer accommodation; the main draw was the ski slopes. Breakfast and the hotel’s location were good, providing a solid base for tours. The bungalow was decent, though dated and a bit old‑school, and everything was clean. However, the heating was very noisy, with banging and dripping water at night and early morning, which kept us awake every night.
