In Yerevan the people are friendly and the rooms can be decent too. The sheets and towels were spot‑clean, which was great. The downside? The four‑bedroom room was tiny, had just one window that faced a “smoking area.” Birds kept me up and I couldn’t open the window. Still, I paid what felt like a good apartment price.

The air‑conditioner worked well, but the room was a mess. Ants, bugs, spiders, stains everywhere – sheets, walls, bathroom all dirty. No room service, barely any toilet paper, and no shampoo or body wash unless I asked for it.

The location was great, but the room itself was dirty, the bed was a problem, and there was no window.

Stayed for one night and it was a cute, old place that was surprisingly clean and tidy. I could have stayed longer, but I had to leave. The host was helpful over the phone, guided me in and out, and the parking was close and cheap. Overall, a solid spot.

It’s a nice place that offers good value. The only hiccup was finding the entrance – you first see the U Ashota door, which isn’t the main hostel. A sign pointing you to the right spot would help.
