I was looking for a break from the world, yet I found a new family instead; in this village that keeps quiet in winter with only two souls and bursts into life in summer, I was welcomed with unfiltered warmth, feeling like a daughter; the scent of the communal oven and the threshold of the small consecrated church made me rediscover true values; it wasn’t just the places that enchanted me, but the paternal and maternal embrace of the locals, their genuine willingness, and the dogs guarding this peace; it felt like stepping back into a past where the unnecessary disappears; here, the essential remains the core around which everything revolves, and I leave with a heart full of simplicity that is today’s most precious gift. ✨

We arrived at the start of September and discovered a true haven of peace—a quiet spot to reconnect with nature, a genuine retreat from the outside world. Antonio and his family’s hospitality was truly special: every request was met and even exceeded. He personally brought us a local wine, and the vegetarian breakfast with scrambled eggs was delicious. Even chatting with him about the house’s history and architecture was a pleasure. The little house… what can I say, a love at first sight! I saw the most beautiful sunrise here and falling asleep with the moon watching you is a unique experience. The glass roof over the bed deserves a special mention. I carry this place in my heart. Thanks for letting us experience it!
