The bed and air conditioning were fine, but the vase was loose, the bathroom sink was loose, and I had to climb a spiral staircase that made it hard to bring luggage.

The lodge sits right in the city center, just a stone's throw from the beach, which is great. The stairs are a bit of a struggle for anyone with a large suitcase, though.

Only the location is worth mentioning. I’m not usually one to write negative reviews, but the room smelled like dirty laundry, the shower was giving me electric shocks, the small tub didn’t work, and the room I booked wasn’t the one I ended up in; the front desk seemed unwilling to help and assigned me a different room.

The lady who greeted me was very friendly and polite. The bathroom had no water, the staircase near the post office was dirty, and overall it was a real mess – I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.
