The hotel features hardwood floors, air conditioning, and soundproofing in all rooms, along with flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms with hairdryers and toiletries. A Lyon-style boules court and multiple dining options are available, including Restaurant Les Téléphones and Le KFE.

The surroundings are beautiful, and the room is spacious with a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom. The pool is really nice. I mentioned that I was booking for my partner’s birthday; usually hotels are a bit more generous, especially for the price, and we also ate at the restaurant. We only received a simple “happy birthday” note, which would have been better if they had offered something more.

The former monastery complex is great, the upscale cuisine is excellent, and the outdoor pool was still usable in mid‑October, along with a jacuzzi, steam bath, and massage sessions that made the city trip wonderful. Bikes could be stored safely, and there is a parking lot at the hotel. It’s a pity that the high hedge blocks the view of the city.

The location is very nice, above the town. The old monastery was very interesting, and the entrance was impressive. Breakfast was a bit cramped, but otherwise everything was great.

The building preserves the interior of the old church in its original décor. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The doors to the rooms are covered with portraits that don’t match the monastery vibe, and there are too few vegetables at breakfast.
