The inn was quiet and pleasant, with friendly staff and a lovely cocktail hour, and there were plenty of comfortable common areas. However, the toilet was very close to the ground, which made it hard for my tall husband, and the stairways were quite steep.

We were welcomed with a delightful reception that featured a self‑served wine tasting, and the building feels quaint yet modernly decorated. Its location in Santa Ynez wine country is great, especially since Holy Grounds Cafe is nearby for coffee and even better gluten‑free treats, and a visit to Ostrichland USA offers an unexpected fun encounter. The room we stayed in, however, definitely smelled as if it had previously suffered water damage, which triggered my mold allergy symptoms until we checked out.

This small Bed and Breakfast is charming, with lovely downstairs sitting rooms, board games, and a breakfast that included freshly baked muffins, bagels, and one freshly made egg item. The room itself was large, with very comfy beds, nice antique furniture, and decorations, creating a pleasant atmosphere overall. We’ll definitely return. The only downside is that the bathroom is quite dated but clean; the place is small, so the reception isn’t always manned, though an emergency phone number is available if needed.

The location, comfort, and room were all good, and the staff were very pleasant and even accommodated a slightly early check‑in. Unfortunately, they did not serve breakfast as we were told they would when we checked in, and no reason was given other than a staff member having slept late.

Cute, quaint and perfectly located near wine tasting.Quiet peaceful setting. I enjoyed the complementary glass of wine and cheese. Some road noise during the day
