“Es ist absolut einen Aufenthalt wert”

We were welcomed warmly at the front desk and an early check‑in was arranged. The restaurant served excellent food from breakfast through dinner, though it was a bit pricey; the tasty dishes and very friendly atmosphere made it worthwhile. The room was special and we really liked it. The spa and sauna were also lovely, and we spent the whole afternoon there. For breakfast, more allergen labeling for lactose or cheese would have been helpful, and a vegan spread would have rounded out the meal nicely.

The location was very quiet, which made the stay very relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a lovely two‑day short holiday.

Breakfast was sufficient, the room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the water was always refilled. The location is great, with a wonderful trail around Tollensesee; the terrace view shows a meadow with horses and the distant lake. The spa is nice. We were served a raspberry tart for coffee that cost 6,90 EURO, but the raspberries were moldy. In the evening we received an antipasti plate that listed olives on the menu, but no olives were actually served. The breakfast offered spelt rolls that were hard and had a cookie‑like texture; the kitchen staff didn’t seem to pay attention to baking times. The American Blues music played continuously at breakfast felt a bit excessive, and the spa’s counter‑current system has been broken for a while, as we were told—hotel management should address such issues before they arise.

The room furnishings were good, breakfast was very good, the surroundings were quiet, the large pool was nice, the bar was attractive, there were plenty of parking spaces, and the staff were friendly. The pool water was too warm, so we couldn’t stay on the loungers for long. The dinner fare was generally too expensive for my taste.

Breakfast was great and the location was nice. There is some maintenance needed here and there, for example in the bathroom and the pool.
