There’s abundant nature around, with plenty of birds and some wildlife easy to spot, the owner’s hospitality and service were outstanding, the hotel’s food was very tasty, and being a little removed from town gave us great privacy and peace. Besides lodging and meals, they can also arrange tours to various spots in and around Mindo.

I stayed there last year. The place is very beautiful, ideal for birdwatchers. Mr. Ronal Machuca and his wife go above and beyond to attend to guests. The breakfast was very tasty. The road remains a bit winding.

I had the privilege of staying at this magical cloud forest retreat, and it was truly enchanting. The property is not a traditional hotel, but rather a cozy and clean room with a breathtaking view of the misty forest. The food was exceptional, lovingly prepared and incredibly delicious. The owners' communication was perfect, and the road to the property may be rough, but it's definitely worth the journey.

I was charmed by the lovely reserve at Balcon Tumpiki, with its numerous trails and stunning views of the forest. My room, number 1, had a balcony overlooking the forest, and the bed was clean and comfortable. The accommodation was simple but offered great value for the price. The property was teeming with birds, and the hummingbird feeders and colibri water stations were a delight. The owners were warm and welcoming, and the food was healthy and plentiful.
