The hotel's location was its standout feature, situated directly on the Schluchtensteig trail.
The hotel's cleanliness and friendly staff made a great impression on me.
The breakfast spread was truly exceptional, and it made up for the minor inconvenience of the pillow.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, making my experience even more enjoyable.

“Hotel in guter Lage”
The room was spacious with a Black Forest‑style vibe. It was on the ground floor, the view wasn’t great, and the balcony lay below the sidewalk.
“Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt gut”
Breakfast was very good, but at some point during service no more rolls were refilled, and dishes like scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelette, pancakes required an extra fee. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with a balcony that had a smoking ashtray; the view was fine. On the second‑to‑last day it rained, and the bathroom smelled awful afterwards. The available hairdryer was old and got very hot. A smart TV would have been nice for the evening, so we had to settle for the regular channel lineup. Phone reception was almost impossible, but the Wi‑Fi with 6G was excellent.
“Hébergement bien adapté pour l’accueil d’un groupe de six cyclotouristes.”
The old building has been well renovated and kept, mixing tradition with modernity. The food was good. There’s a secure bike garage. The only drawback is that it’s 3‑4 km from the city centre and the terrain is steep.
“Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen! Wunderbar”
We really liked the relaxed and friendly service, and the food was excellent and refined—thanks a lot. The shower should be a bit larger; we’re getting older and need more room.
The staff were extremely friendly and everyone was very nice; the food was very good.
