Location is good. The guard named Thành had issues, letting short‑term guests in to pocket money, and when I arrived my room was already occupied, so I was moved to another room; the guard told me not to mention this to reception.

It’s a “just okay” value‑for‑money option. Room 401 has a slight sea view and looks out onto a small park. The owner doesn’t speak English but is very friendly, as is the lady. The receptionist’s daughter speaks English well, communicates clearly, and arranged a scooter for me. The AC and mini‑fridge work well. I had a lovely stay and there are plenty of nearby eateries; for a Western breakfast, try the small restaurant “69”.

The spot is great, but there’s a lot of noise, the AC is loud, the hallway lights are bright, and there’s no soundproofing.

The rates are reasonable, the staff are friendly and attentive, it’s easy to get around, and the café Đôi Dép right across the street is great. I’ll definitely return.
