Björkuddens Hotell & Restaurang, located in Sandöverken, features rooms with stunning views of the River Ångermanälven and Höga Kusten Bridge, especially breathtaking at night with illuminated bridge lights. The 1892 main building, originally a school with English bricks, now offers renovated rooms with TV, phone, and internet access. The on-site restaurant serves seasonal menus in a beautifully lit, 2-metre high windowed venue.

The location is unique and the chef prepared very creative, fine menus. The hotel is old. The décor is bland, but with a little effort something nice could be made. The staff were not particularly friendly or attentive. Even the espresso at breakfast was charged separately.

What a beautiful stay! Everything was great, the staff were welcoming and helpful, we could hear the waves from the room with its magical view, the restaurant served good food and the breakfast was delicious, and everything went beyond what we expected. The staff, the room, the view.

The breakfast was good and the environment was calm. The shower floor was very slippery; a shower mat would have been nice.

The location was very nice with a beautiful view over the bridge. The food at the restaurant was excellent and parking was free. The room was a bit worn and could have used a refresh, but the stunning view made up for it.
