“Freundliches Personal, aber armesliges Frühstück”
I stayed in a large room about 25 minutes on foot from the city centre, and the hosts were very friendly – if they were actually there. The breakfast was a bit shabby: sometimes there was butter, sometimes not; sometimes milk for coffee, sometimes not; sometimes jam, sometimes not. Otherwise the porridge was bland and the bread was tasteless.

The staff’s welcome was fantastic; when I fell ill one day they worried about me and tried to give me every possible comfort. The breakfast could have a wider selection – unfortunately they bring a plate with whatever the kitchen decides.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is good, but it sits on a hill, so climbing up is a little tiring.

The room was large with a balcony, a big bathroom, and plenty of storage. It’s a 10‑minute walk to the 18 bus that goes to France Square, and small shops are a 2‑minute walk away. The Yandex transport app works great for getting around. Contactless cards work on the bus and metro. The breakfast was mediocre – no fruit, no bedside switch, and the Wi‑Fi on the third floor was bad.
