The building is gorgeous, surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for escaping city chaos without venturing far from the center. Lady Giovanna was incredibly helpful and sweet, even giving us a ride halfway to Lucca Comics for free—a gesture I truly appreciated. I strongly recommend it for future stays.

The Acienda sits about 6 km outside Lucca, very quiet among olive groves. Unfortunately, you need a car or a Vespa for all travel. The pool is lovely, the people are friendly, and breakfast is provided. We had a few beautiful days there, and I’d definitely book Apartment 2. The connection to the outside world is spotty—poor phone and internet.

The property is stunning, tucked into the countryside and greenery—a truly authentic and peaceful spot. The lack of air‑conditioners, only tiny fans, feels inadequate with this summer heat. What bothered me most was having to rush through a very quick checkout at 10 a.m. the next morning because they needed the room ready.

The peace and solitude were perfect, with no traffic noise at night. It was the only place we stayed that stocked milk in the fridge—probably 12–15 coffee pods—and offered a wide variety of biscuits, crackers, jams, and some bread. There weren’t many drawbacks; living in this kind of setting all my life, it felt almost like home.

Everything was arranged perfectly here; the apartment was ideal, the bed was comfortable, it was very clean, the snacks we received were plentiful and tasty, Giovanna explained everything clearly, the pool and the private spots by the pool were wonderful, and the location is close to the city center – a truly fantastic place and time!
