The location was lovely, quiet, with fields and horses, and the owner and his wife were very friendly. The shuttle bus, aside from the airport transfer, also took us to a nearby pub for a meal and back later. We could park there for the whole holiday. The price for one night felt a bit steep.

We liked the accommodation and the farm. The “included breakfast” was mentioned, but only corn flakes were in the room and no milk; the staff said nothing else. When we asked for an airport shuttle at 04:15 am, the staff said a shuttle would be arranged at that time and that we’d need to pay £20. He promised to arrange it, yet we waited from 04:05 am and nothing arrived until we found and hired our own Uber to the airport. Next time please ensure the shuttle is actually requested, or inform guests that it’s not possible so they can plan their own transport and avoid missing flights.

The place was spotlessly clean, but the parking signage was confusing and the bays weren’t clearly marked. The room was cold and the heating never responded even after we asked for help; the staff promised to fix it but never returned. I ended up lying in bed with a jumper and covers, wishing for a pint of milk or at least a few milk sachets for tea. The check‑in communication could have been clearer before arrival.

Everything was spotless and the hotel’s proximity to the airport was a big plus. I never received the booking details I requested, even after emailing the property. When I arrived, the gate was locked, so I called the contact number and the staff answered promptly and opened the gate for me. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the shower, so we had to run out and buy some. The cottage next door played loud music until very late, so I politely asked the neighbors to quiet down; it wasn’t the owners’ fault, just annoying.
