“Why stay in a hotel when you can have a private villa?”
Why stay at a 5‑star hotel when this feels like an almost private villa? Hotels may look good but often fall short. This is what a holiday should be, and I’d choose it over a hotel any day. The host gave an exceptional friendly welcome, a little tour, and a chilled coconut. The host is wonderful, communicates well, is friendly and helpful, but overall reserved so you can relax. The pool feels like a private villa – you share it only with the host, who is rarely there – so you get near‑total privacy. The pool temperature is perfect, with sunloungers and a shaded daybed. The garden is peaceful and secluded with a strong sense of privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, electric hob, and all utensils. Indoor and outdoor tables are available for meals. Apple TV is there. The bathroom is clean, modern, Western‑style, with plenty of towels. The location is quiet at night, with only birds during the day. Transport from the airport is very quick. There’s only a little noise from planes. The overall setup feels far more relaxed and flexible than a hotel. Mosquitoes are plentiful around the shaded veranda, especially morning and evening; the host supplies smoke coils, but you should bring your own spray. The location needs transport; nothing is easily walkable in the heat, not even a convenience store. The property is hard to find due to unclear house numbering, so double‑check before booking the grab. The bed is quite firm, which may not suit everyone.
