The room was clean and the housekeeping staff were polite (I want to specify), but the reception was lamentable, with a kind of “buffalo” who didn’t even feel the need to get out of his seat to greet the guest, and he kept talking in Thai with a colleague throughout the check‑in. The breakfast that was supposed to be hot was cold, the hot dishes had to be plugged in again, and the pastries were discounted from the previous day. This is the fourth or fifth time I’ve stayed at this place, aside from a few Russians and other tourists, and that’s understandable.
