The historic residence was well renovated. One of the apartments has no windows, only a skylight, which isn’t suitable if you suffer from claustrophobia.

“Benissimo ma non perfetto”

Staying in a historic manor largely preserved in its original state was very evocative, with all necessary comforts. Unfortunately, despite the host being very kind and available, we had a “problem” because she asked for documents for data registration and then forgot to return them. After a couple of hours of trying to contact her, we couldn’t get them back, forcing us to continue our day without the documents. Another unpleasant surprise was breakfast, which was included in the booking: we received a voucher for a nearby bar, but the bar hadn’t been notified about our breakfast, so by 10:00 it was all gone, forcing us to pay for breakfast elsewhere. What a pity.

The location had parking nearby. The breakfast included in the price turned out to be a bluff. The affiliated bar only covered €2.50 per person, insufficient for two simple brioche, a cappuccino, and a macchiato. We added the difference and felt taken advantage of! The feeling was that the guesthouse’s welcome, while friendly, was very cost‑saving towards the customer, with inadequate solutions such as a TV that was present but unusable because it was behind a wardrobe, or the lack of hooks or hangers for towels in the steep-access bathroom.

I enjoyed a typical Italian breakfast at a nearby bar, which was absolutely satisfying.
