We adored the lagoon view, the close proximity to Ahangama beaches and cafés, and the free kayaking in the lagoon; the bathroom and shower were tidy, the bed comfy, and Jasmine and her partner were fantastic hosts who made us feel right at home—thanks for the hospitality!

We stayed two weeks and were thrilled: the room fit two people perfectly with everything needed, the setting by the river mouth was tranquil, and the canoes to paddle upstream were a delight; the area feels safe, a bus stop is just a 3‑minute walk away, and breakfast each day was delicious; the host was exceptionally kind and attentive, and the laundry, fridge, and water were always handy—definitely coming back and highly recommending it.

The view of the lake is lovely, and occasionally a train passes over the bridge, but that didn’t bother us much; the spacious room with AC was great, the breakfast tasty, and the operator very friendly—just a bit farther from the city centre, about a 2‑km walk.

I wrapped up my final days of the SL trip at this place, and the owner left a lasting impression—friendly, helpful, and clearly invested in ensuring guests enjoy their stay. The view from my room was a definite highlight: waking up to the lagoon with the ocean beyond feels like an amazing start to the day. When the tide rises, the lagoon water turns crystal clear, and you can simply walk into it from the hotel premises to cool off. The location is super convenient—far enough from the main street to avoid much noise, yet just a 3‑minute walk to the next beach and surf spot (Devil's Island). Good restaurants and cafés are also within a 5‑minute walk. The fiber internet and Wi‑Fi excel, offering 50 mb+ speed and a stable connection for work calls. All in all, this place feels like a highly underpriced spot since it’s new. I’ll definitely recommend it to my friend and plan to stay here for my next south SL trip! The only downside is that I stayed so short :)
