The staff were great, especially Birendraji, Divik and Sonia, who were very helpful, and the restaurant staff were extremely efficient and helpful—thank you, I’ll come back. The hotel’s location and views were also excellent.

The location was really good but a bit far from the main market. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The food was just okay, typical.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at Hotel King Castle. The location is excellent, with breathtaking mountain views, and it’s only a 5‑minute walk to the monastery. The main market is also nearby, making it very convenient to explore the area. The staff were incredibly friendly, cooperative, and always willing to help with a smile. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The food was delicious, with great taste and quality. A big thank you to the entire team for their outstanding hospitality and for making my trip so special and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I look forward to visiting again!

The view over the mountains and valley behind McLeod Ganj is amazing, and the terrace is great for taking it all in. However, Google Maps makes it look close to the Dalai Lama Temple, but it’s actually a steep downhill walk (and then back up). The walls in the room are in poor condition, towels and sheets are grey, hot water ran out, and then the water supply stopped altogether. It needs a lot of maintenance.
