Perla del cabo

The spot is amazing—it's not in a village, yet there are two close by. It’s a cabin right by the sea, isolated with no neighbours, and the hosts’ houses are right behind, also very close. The hosts are wonderful, always ready to help and chat nicely. Selmina is also an excellent cook, and we’re very grateful for everything. The only thing we’d note is that the area, not just the location, sometimes lacks running water; we didn’t mind because a bucket of water is provided for hygiene.

“Solo si quieres vivir una auténtica experiencia local.”

It was an authentic experience with local people, most of whom were very friendly. The infrastructure could use some upgrades: the shower uses a pot of water, as does the toilet. The gaps in the cabin could be better sealed to keep out animals and water. All the activities are priced high.

Cermida and her family gave a superb welcome; it’s a real family inn where we share everyday life and they’re always ready to help us organise our stay. The meals were delicious and generous, the activities offered were nice, and the spot is perfect in the heart of that paradise bay. The only thing is that people should know there’s no hot water and the flow is low, but honestly we didn’t need it given the place.
