The place is right next to restaurants and every amenity is a stroll away; the grounds stay tidy and the room is pleasant, but truck traffic can be a bit of a nuisance.

The room was tidy, the bed comfy, and the shower worked well, plus a nice pub is just a short walk away; however, the air‑con unit is very loud, the ensuite lacks a proper door—just a sliding barn door that doesn’t seal and leaves a bit to the imagination—and the hotel feels more like a motel because the lobby is often unstaffed and there are only a handful of nearby eating spots.

The front‑desk lady was super helpful, carried my luggage, plugged in the charger for my phone and laptop, and even explained where to eat breakfast and dinner, though she didn’t realize the lamps could be used for charging. I had to install grab bars in the shower, the Wi‑Fi never worked, the YouTube TV was spotty and hard to catch live news, and there was no closet so I had to bring my own hangers and hooks.
