Everything was great. The room was spacious and clean, with all the essentials. The pool and hot tub added a nice touch, and we loved the location too.
“Clean but Worn Out”
On the plus side, the unit was clean and comfortable, but it was clear that it was getting a bit worn out. There were small details like missing light bulbs and hand soap dispensers that didn't work, and the lack of snow removal didn't help the overall feel.
“Great Location, Bad Room”
The location was fantastic, and it was easy to get around. The area was family-friendly and quiet, and we didn't need to venture far for anything. However, our room at the Flying Dutchman was a different story altogether. It was outdated and didn't match the pictures at all - the curtains were shredded, the furniture was worn out, and the TV was ancient.
“Clean, but Noisy”
The hotel was spotless, but the air conditioner was a real problem at night. It gave off heat and made it hard to fall asleep, and I woke up often. It was a shame, really, because the cleanliness was top-notch.
“Great Location, Bad Hotel”
The location was great, and the beds were comfortable, but the hotel itself felt more like a motel than a proper place to stay. The walls and floors were paper thin, and we could hear kids stomping around above us all day long. The hot tub was always full, and the parking lot was a nightmare. We even got a "first tracks Friday" pass, but the staff didn't explain what it was or how to use it.
