“Un trozo de Selva en Palenque centro!”

Casa Hadassa sits in the prized “la cañada,” a slice of jungle still preserved in the heart of Palenque, close to the ADO station – a 5‑minute walk, and 12 minutes from the main square. The house has several private rooms and a large, always clean kitchen with stoves and a communal fridge that opens onto a patio where you can dine while listening to local birds and howling monkeys. They kindly provide a water jug for guests’ daily use. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious, hot water pressure good, and air conditioning worked. Deep cleaning of all areas and the great hospitality of “Juan,” who was always available for any question and enjoyable to chat with about Palenque and its customs, deserve mention. From the ADO station, across from the Indigenous Head, you can take a shared Taxi‑Van to the entrance of the archaeological park where you buy entrance tickets to the ruins; from there another taxi takes you to the site – everything is very organized. The only downside is that the sheets are synthetic and could be improved.

Great location near local spots, surrounded by trees and plants that make you feel like you’re in a jungle. The bed was very comfortable, there was daily room service, a well‑furnished kitchen, and overall the house is gorgeous – highly recommended!
