Hotel Avisa Downtown, Morro Bay, offers waterfront views and proximity to shops and restaurants within a 2-minute walk. Each room features free Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, coffee maker, and cable TV. The hotel boasts a fitness centre, stunning views of Morro Bay and Morro Rock, and is near Morro Bay State Park, the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History, and Hearst Castle (30-minute drive).

The property was beautiful and well‑located. From our balcony we could see the Bay. There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel; the staff were extremely friendly and the town itself was gorgeous.

The location was spot on, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the views were stunning, exactly what I was after. The only downside was the AC unit’s noise, but we simply left the slider open and enjoyed the fresh ocean breeze.

The place is in a great spot and the staff were welcoming. The rooms felt freshly renovated and in good shape, yet the balcony railings needed paint and the A/C unit’s exterior was missing a side panel, exposing interior parts—something that could worry families with small kids. The fitness room could use a water fountain and exercise mats to protect the carpet. Overall, a minor flaw in an otherwise lovely hotel.
