“The apartment was perfect for what we needed and perfect for a visit to Pisa and wider Tuscany.”

We stayed for 4 nights. The location was midway between the train station and the Tower and Cathedral, about 15 minutes walk from each. The apartment was right on the riverside with several restaurants in the immediate vicinity and many more a few minutes walk away. Being so close to the station meant that we were able to visit both Florence (50 mins) and Lucca (25 mins). Roberto was very friendly and communicative throughout and kindly arranged for his legend of a father to pick us up from the airport as our flight landed around midnight. From what I can gather, the apartment is one of a small number located over two floors. Ours was on the lower, 5th floor and was one of three self‑contained ensuite rooms located off a central shared kitchen / relaxation area. Plentiful coffee / tea supplies and filtered water on tap. Fast wifi. Although the doors to the three rooms were close together, it was very quiet while we were there. The frequent PisaMover shuttle cable train gets you to / from the train station to the airport in under 10 mins. I can’t think of anything negative.

Everything was easily reachable. Coffee shops, restaurants, and the Pisa Leaning Tower were all close by. The walls were quite thin, and the loud noise from the apartment above us could be heard.

It’s modern and stylish—an entirely lovely experience. Most people are friendly and helpful. Finding the place under the strong sun was a bit tricky, and the wait for the doorbell was a hassle. The doors to the rooms are very close together, so I hit my hand twice on the squashed knob. The city tax must be paid in cash because they don’t have a machine to pay electronically, but I sorted that through two local shops. Also, the stairs are very dark, so I had to use my torch to find my way out.
