The place itself was nice, but the location was far from everything. For someone without a car or a driver’s licence, the roads are not very safe to walk on because there are no sidewalks or bike paths. There is literally no lighting on the road, making it very dangerous to walk there in the evening.

There was no breakfast. The noise was excessive; a party was held right under my room until 11 pm, and the next morning the kitchen staff started working at 5:30 am, so I couldn’t lock the bathroom door and had to contact staff. The same day, there were low supplies of toilet paper. The door handle on the room fell off, so I had to install it myself, and there was no help when I returned in the evening – truly poor service.

The room was functional and clean, and although the breakfast was an extra cost, it was outstanding.

It’s not a hotel but a financial investment: an old monastery with tiny monk cells rented at gold prices; the photo of the room on the website is a lie, the worst value for money of all my stays—avoid it, especially on Saturday evenings when weddings happen! Two of us stayed that night. If a hotel’s purpose is to sleep, this fails; no AC or fan, a shower floods the room, no reception, no staff, key boxes, no elevator (which might have saved us two rooms), and the staircase is too small for luggage. The site looks nice.
