Pension Aura Špičák lies in Špičák, heart of the Bohemian Forest, 3 km north of Železná Ruda. Rooms feature bathrooms, TVs, some with saunas. The property offers storage for ski gear. Alpalouka slope is 50 m away, with a ski bus stop and chair lift 100 m distant. Cerne and Certovo lakes are 4 km away, maps for cycling and skiing tours are available.

Skvělá lokalita ať už jako výchozí bod nebo na popojetí autem za výletními cíli. Parkování u pensionu, rychlý check in, wifi, čistota naprosto v topu, dostatek ručníků. Co musím vyzdvihnout je manželská postel nebývalých rozměrů jak do výšky, šířky, tak délky, s velmi pohodlnými matracemi. Naprostá pecka. A dále také vynikající rozmanité snídaně, které nás mile překvapily, co se týče teplé kuchyně a sladkých dobrůtek. Určitě tento pension můžeme doporučit dále. Jediné, co bych vylepšila, je montáž zatemňovacích závěsů do oken na pokoji. My měli pokoj směrem do ulice a tam jsme vnímali světlo z pouličních lamp i přes zatažené žaluzie. Jinak co se týče silnice, byl přes noc klid

The room was small but very clean, and the balcony added extra value in summer. The owners were very pleasant and the homemade breakfast was excellent.

The pension sits right next to the parking lot where the Běhej lesy race starts. The facilities are fairly standard. We missed a small kitchen (at least a shared one) where we could heat our own food, and we were very disappointed that we couldn’t shower on the last day before departure. We went to Šumava for hiking and sports, expecting to be able to wash up after finishing a Sunday hike at 11, but that was not possible. We also couldn’t leave our car at the pension (even though we returned before the next day’s check‑in). Additionally, the hallway had a noticeable dog odor, which we suspect was an isolated incident rather than the norm.
