The new part of the hotel is very decent: rooms are fully equipped (plus refrigerators!), nice bathrooms, sometimes a balcony. The old part has a certain charm, with rooms in a castle that have both pros and cons. The restaurant is good. The staff are very courteous and helpful, creating a cozy atmosphere. We booked the entire property, so the ratings vary depending on the room. The beds are very comfortable everywhere. Some rooms have a jacuzzi, which is unusual but could be useful. The area is quiet. The new part has a noticeable restaurant noise, and the corridor isn’t sound‑proofed. Room standards are uneven. A basement room with no window should never be offered at any price, yet it was in the listing. Various reviews criticized the lack of ventilation and sewer smells, yet it still came to us.
