From the moment I stepped up to the front desk, everything felt spot‑on – staff were friendly and the place was immaculate. The location is unbeatable, literally just a few steps onto the sand.

The hotel sits right near everything and getting around was a piece of cake, plus we could use the minibar whenever we felt like it. The only real gripe was the swarm of mosquitoes that kept buzzing around the room.

The rooms were spotless and the breakfast spread was genuinely good. On the downside, the mattress had a noticeable dip in the middle, the pillow was far from comfy, and the shower kept shutting off mid‑wash.

We had booked a room at Porto do Sol Suites, but because they were under renovation they shifted us to the Beira Mar building, which actually offered breakfast and was pleasant. The only downside was the lack of a TV antenna and the fact that there was no internet at all.
