The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very welcoming; I recommend it.

Everything is close by and the Moussin clinic is right next door, but the shower mirror lacks a bit of light.

The cleaning and bed comfort were fine, but the heating didn’t work; after we reported it a heater was set up, yet the rest of the stay it stayed off and we had to keep heating the room with the heater every time we arrived, leaving the room very cold.

The breakfast options were lovely and varied, so that part was good. The hotel sits right across from the train station, which is convenient, but it’s still quite far from the city centre, especially if you’re visiting Paris for the first time. I had specifically booked a double bed with a sofa couch/bed, which costs more than a normal double room without the sofa. I paid extra so my father could sleep on the sofa while I slept on the double bed. When we checked in, there was no extra bedding, so I asked reception. The lady said the sofa bed isn’t meant for us because we booked for two people, so I argued that I paid extra for it, but she said she’d arrange it and never did. This made the stay extremely uncomfortable for my 70‑year‑old father, who was celebrating his birthday, and it was a huge disappointment. The balcony faced the main road, so it was noisy—if you’re a light sleeper, be careful when booking this room. It also wasn’t the room shown in the picture when I booked it, so I couldn’t sit on the balcony and read; cars were constantly moving and a top‑ground train ran across the hotel. There’s no closet space, so your luggage takes up most of the floor space in an already small room. The Wi‑Fi signal was weak and kept dropping, especially at night. Overall, the stay was okay but disappointing.
