“Ideal location for exploring Ghent.”

The breakfast spread was generous, offering boiled eggs, bread, pastries, condiments, cured meats, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, tea, coffee, and fresh fruit. My room was roomy, quiet, and featured a separate table with chairs. The location is ideal for walking to many sights, and public transport sits just outside the property with a 7‑minute ride to the train station, though walking is also convenient. A large botanical park lies nearby, and several grocery stores are within a few minutes’ walk. Unfortunately, the internet failed for most of my stay, forcing me to drain a lot of my own mobile data, which was inconvenient. There was only one teaspoon and the teacup was cracked; more cutlery would have been helpful for eating take‑away at the table. The shower was positioned above the bath, making it a bit tricky to get in and out.

Everything was great: the aesthetic, every detail, proximity to a bus stop, and the ability to reach the city center in minutes.
