Located in the Maldives, Diamonds Athuruga Maldives Resort & Spa offers a luxurious getaway with spacious villas, an Ayurvedic spa, and a dive centre. Over-water villas feature a large terrace with lagoon access, while beachfront bungalows have private verandahs and open-air showers. Water sports and snorkelling spots are available, along with five restaurants, a library, and a business centre.

- Island is beautiful - Snorkeling on the house reef is superb! - Staff are sweet and attentive - Marine biologists on site - they take care of the reef and educate people. - Food is good. - I don't quite think the resort lives up to its advertised five-star rating. There is no swimming pool, gym, or pool villas, and some of the finer details you would normally expect from a luxury resort are missing, such as a chair in the room, a table on the terrace, or decorative plants in the outdoor bathroom. None of this was an issue for me, as I don't need any of those things and was perfectly happy with what the resort offered. However, guests expecting a more traditional five-star experience might be a little disappointed

The place is unique, extraordinary, the house reef is marvelous, and the resort is perfect. Nothing negative.

Everything was flawless: the staff were lovely, the house reef stunning, the excursions excellent, and the meals tasty—truly a dream vacation. No complaints.
