“Close to what I needed”

The place is conveniently located and check‑in is easy, but the stairs are quite narrow, uneven and lean to one side, and there is a lot of noise from guests above and in the stairwells because the walls are paper‑thin. The room is small yet adequate for a solo traveller, yet it has a cracked tile that wasn’t mentioned when I booked. The shower takes a long time to heat up, there’s no fridge in the room even though it was listed, and there is no place to leave luggage so I had to leave it unattended in the hallway, storing it elsewhere for security reasons.

Surprisingly good. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Excellent location. Great value for money.

The location was fine and the bed was comfortable; the toilet was clean. The TV only had a few channels, the Wi‑Fi stopped working after half a day, towels and trash were not collected, the shower had no pressure and hot water rarely came, there were broken tiles on the floor, mold spots on the heating, the bathroom cabinet was dirty, staff were unreachable on site and by phone, the window handles were worn, the curtain rod was crooked, and the toilet flush was too light.

Very comfortable, but the sockets are only UK standard, they should have USB ports, and the internet doesn’t work on the third floor.

“Stay at City Inn Russell”

The apartment was well situated and clean. I contacted the property to ask about dropping my luggage before check-in which they assured me would be fine and to go to Reception which was open from 11am to 5pm. However when I arrived around 11.30am Reception was closed. I sent an email but didn't receive a reply until hours later. I needed up leaving my suitcase in the hallway. They are obviously not checking emails throughout the day as I had another request sent via email that also took several hours to respond to. The handle on the wardrobe was missing and on one of the bathroom vanity doors
