There was a good selection for children at the buffet, and the indoor area was near the breakfast room. The loft bed had no guardrail or protection, which is risky since kids move a lot while sleeping. The prices for lunch/dinner and drinks at the hotel were high.

The evenings were pleasantly quiet, the breakfast was good, and the staff in the breakfast area were very friendly. It was great that we could use the Brückenkopfpark. However, finding a nice spot to sit and drink something in the evenings was difficult, and the reception staff were sometimes inflexible.

Our room was spacious and on the ground floor, giving us a small outdoor area. The breakfast was also acceptable. Aside from a few minor negatives, everything was fine; we felt comfortable, slept well, and were energized in the morning. The outdoor area in front of our room was dirty, littered with bottle caps, gummy bears, used tissues, etc. The hotel is marketed as a “Bed & Bike” hotel, but we had no place to store our bicycles even though we had requested it beforehand and were promised a spot. Overall, the building and furnishings could use a bit more upkeep, as the carpet was worn and the bed creaked.

The breakfast was good and the location was very quiet. The shower had mold under the silicone seal.

The breakfast, dinner, and parking were all good, and the staff were great, but nobody was available to explain how dinner worked.
