“Acampamento melhorado”
The room was private and quiet, but it had a mold smell and the bathroom swing didn’t close, which cooled the room and made showering difficult.
“Ruim, mas muito ruim mesmo.”
The place feels isolated and seemed quiet the one night I was there, though any additional guests could easily make it noisy. Rosa, who many praised, was no longer present; her ex‑husband took over, saying he didn’t know what to do with the place and that his daughter now looks after it. We waited about 30 minutes for her because every room was dirty and messy. When she finally arrived, she gave the room a superficial clean, put on an old, worn‑out sheet and left. There was no internet information and the phone signal didn’t work. The bed was old and extremely squeaky, making it hard to breathe without hearing the noise, so sleeping was difficult. The shower was scalding hot, like a torch, making a proper wash impossible, and the towels were clearly from the 1980s, over‑used and re‑washed countless times. We woke up at 05:00 feeling like we hadn’t slept at all and rushed out. This venue is unsuitable for guests; only someone exhausted enough to need a place just to crash might consider it, and even then the bed is miserable. It’s one of the worst spots I’ve stayed at, and the owner should pull it from listing sites and at least do a basic renovation. Stay away.
“Longe do centro”
The owner's service was really nice, but the location was pretty inconvenient. Still, the owner's friendliness made our stay a bit better.
There was no coffee.
“Foi muito bom ficar na Dedo de Deus.”
We really liked the warm reception from the owners, who were very friendly and pleasant and surprised us with a very good and complete breakfast! However, there was no sign indicating the entrance to the road leading to the lodge.
