The property was decent and the location was great, but the room was tiny and right next to the front door, so the constant “bang bang bang” noise was relentless. A door silencer and a runner carpet would help.

The room was spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable; we only stayed for one night for an event and it was brilliant. The staff were amazing, super friendly and accommodating, making our stay lovely.

The location was good, but the place looked very run down and not well cleaned. Nighttime noises were loud and the room had no soundproofing.

Breakfast was excellent, but we thought the Townhouse was right beside the Strand Hotel, so walking there in bad weather felt like a pain. The painting in room no. 3 was appalling; a nice local scene would have been far better.
