The place was only a short walk from the bus stop, so finding it was a breeze and the email with details arrived promptly. The room, however, was a nightmare: the mattress had multiple stains, felt old and uncomfortable, and I got bitten by something that caused swelling on parts of my body. It also had a strong cigarette odor. I tried to contact the staff, but received no reply, and the toilet kept clogging because someone never flushed it after use, forcing me to keep flushing it myself.

The room featured large windows, good ventilation, and a fan, and the private bathroom sat right next to the bedroom; everything was clean and straightforward, with a useful table, closet, and sink inside. Check‑in was not too difficult, but the place turned out to be farther from the nearest station than I had expected.

The location was good, but the service was extremely disappointing. Paying £45 for a room that didn’t even include basic amenities like a hand wash in the toilet or a bin in the room was not worth it. I stayed for three nights and saw no cleaners around. Even after repeatedly asking for a hand wash in the toilet, the manager seemed indifferent and, after reassuring me, ultimately did not follow through on his promise.

“Very enjoyable experience and any issue I had was speedily resolved. Very professional. No complain”

The location was very convenient for work, and the room was clean and tidy. A few more spoons and forks would have been very handy.
