Noémie’s kindness and quality of welcome. The room had a very good mattress, was well decorated, and the renovated bathroom was great. The spring and pools were lovely. Breakfast was generous with croissants, fresh bread, homemade jams, yogurts, and farm juice – pure bliss. Nothing, it was perfect.

The region is beautiful. The place is weird – B like Beylon, and strange… The access is bizarre: no signposts, you have to go to the end of a campsite and risk taking a path that leads to a vacant lot (and no network to call). The house is a huge gray, sad building that’s nothing like a castle, surrounded by a series of industrial‑looking pools. The reception is strange, rather cold, where we’re told to take off our shoes and we have to wait until the last minute to learn the button that opens the gate and lets us leave the property. The décor is kitschy neo‑medieval, tables covered in plastic. The price is bizarre: 406 euros for two nights without the room being ready.
