“Не стоит своих денег”
I stayed in a hotel where the pillows were very firm and the curtains let in light; after asking, they installed blackout curtains and gave me orthopedic pillows. The outside area looks nice and they host concerts by famous Russian singers. However, the staff speaks only Russian and almost nothing in English or German, so the service was lacking. The food selection in the à la carte restaurants was small, and for the price I could have gotten a much better room, better renovation, and better service in Europe. There was no soundproofing; a hotel opposite us, a stage, and an amusement park were right in front of us, and even with the balcony closed the noise was as loud as if it were open. Late‑night club music and shows never stopped, and moving to another room was not guaranteed—staff checked for availability. Some rooms had renovated interiors, others were old, depending on luck.
