“Pelo in hotel?”
The hotel was clean, elegant, and the reception and bar were open 24h. The staff were greedy. I stayed there for a week and they kept demanding that I return to the hotel every day to pay, even though I had all my belongings in my room. If I didn’t comply, they called me a thousand times during work hours and I had to rush there, risking accidents, even though I had been there for more than a week and had paid everything on time. They moved me to a different room for their own reasons (and that’s already a hassle for the guest) and didn’t take responsibility for moving my luggage: they required a double PDF signature with a phone that I can’t even figure out how they managed to do. The staff were welcoming on the surface: when I complied with their demands everything was fine, but when I told them openly how I felt, they stopped greeting me. When I asked for an explanation from the manager, she treated me like a fish in front of her seniority in the hotel industry. The laundry service was very expensive. The décor and structure needed a review, full of references to female pubic hair (obscene centerpieces); the Etruscan sarcophagus at the entrance was unclear in purpose, though I had an idea, perhaps the owner’s fantasies about death toward his mother? On the lower floor, the breakfast area had a red line between steel tongues that looked like an open wound for the whole room and was disgusting. The décor and room colors were unsatisfactory for sleep quality. In particular, the choice of white and blue increased feelings of anxiety and insecurity for the guest. The choice of flowers and vines on the walls caused paranoia and negative thoughts, as well as increased thirst for the guest, and further referenced female pubic hair. The hand soap in the designated dispensers and the closed hair dryer increased claustrophobia. Overall, I would prefer not to see the owner’s actions in a hotel I frequent. It’s disgusting.
