The staff were very humble and supportive. The air‑conditioning was pathetic; every night it caused trouble and the sad part is that the staff know the problem and accept it, but management does not take steps.

“Quite a disappointment”

The room was nice and the bed comfortable, the location was fairly quiet, and the staff except Reception were pretty attentive. They use their own imaginative exchange rate, which no hotel has done before in Bangladesh. This means you pay 11 USD more for two nights than confirmed by the booking. This is a scam and unworthy for a hotel that calls itself LUXURY HOTEL and displays so‑called Rewards on every wall to be the “best luxury hotel in South East Asia”. Breakfast is soso, one cockroach ran over the bread. The restaurant is full of mosquitoes. When we complained, they sent a terminator with an electric tennis racket. Unfortunately all mosquitoes were under the table eating us up. Tiles in the swimming pool were dirty, all black and the pool area needs renovation; it looks like they are up to it because when we were there some people came to discuss an upgrade. This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel for me. I would not book it again.

“Clean and comfortable”

This place was a pleasant surprise - clean rooms, tasty breakfast, great location, and plenty of space to spread out.
