This place is fantastic! The villas, the location, the facilities, and the staff were all outstanding, and there was nothing else to add—pure paradise.

The facilities were great and the resort is close to the Gili Islands, the zoo, and other attractions, but there should be more halal food options.

The staff were all very welcoming, friendly, and hospitable, especially Sayu who made our stay unforgettable. The resort itself is beautiful, the food—especially breakfast—was excellent, and the beach was fantastic. Our villa with a pool was well equipped and a very relaxing place to be. The cocktails were amazing, and we loved the private charter to the Gili Islands, which we would recommend wholeheartedly. The beach equipment—SUPs, kayaks, snorkels, fins—was all available. The massages were good and the bed was comfortable. We’d strongly recommend taking a taxi (20 min) to Warung Ehsan at Nipah Beach for sunset and seafood, which was genuinely incredible; the bluebird app is handy for local taxis. However, this 5* resort could use a few small, achievable improvements. Consistency was lacking: housekeeping was patchy and erratic—minibar not refreshed, dirty glasses, random additions or changes each day—so it was friendly but not polished. Apart from Sayu, the service felt impersonal; very few staff remembered our room number, names, or regular orders (it was always Bintang!) even after staying 7 nights, so we would have ordered more if they had remembered. The nearby beach club played loud music on Friday and Saturday nights, and I felt annoyed for complaining about it continuing late into the night. Service was slow and inconsistent, even with the number of staff, especially for water and drinks. We stayed 7 nights and there were only 3 themed buffets—2 Indian and one fish BBQ. It was a shame the Indonesian night was the day we checked out; better planning could improve variety. The buffets were extremely expensive, the nightly music/entertainment was loud and repetitive, and there were many children and families, so more thought could be given to keeping honeymoon couples away from screaming kids. Everyone is encouraged to book dinner, and there are plenty of tables, so this is easy to achieve and would really improve the atmosphere. £8 fizzy water (local, not imported) is insane, as are the laundry prices!

Beautiful with great facilities, though some refurbishment could be useful.
