Beautiful and welcoming family – perfect for an overnight stay, great value, delicious food! Breakfast and dinner were both great, and they also offer several tours that we’d already booked, but it would be easy and great to book through them.

Fantastic! This was my favorite stay in Sri Lanka. From the moment I arrived, the host family was friendly and welcoming. The property is beautiful, relaxed, and the host family is the loveliest. My room was so nice, clean, and the huge king bed was the most comfortable. They organized my Yala Safari and handled every detail with ease. The safari was amazing; the hosts are passionate and knowledgeable about all the animals and birds, making it even more enjoyable. A local who truly knows and loves their area and wants to share it. The food was also delicious. They offered a very generous breakfast, which they kindly prepared early so I could catch a bus to Ella, and a lovely homemade Kottu dinner. What makes it special is the hospitality – all the extra details, helping with whatever you need, ensuring you have the best stay possible. They made the whole experience memorable. I also played cricket with their boys and, as a final goodbye, received a little handmade gift as a souvenir. The kindness kept coming. Highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Yala and wanting to experience the best hospitality in Sri Lanka, especially solo female travellers. They truly understand how to create a safe and welcoming environment. Thank you 🙏

We had an amazing stay! The hosts went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfy. They also organized a great safari for us and cooked an incredible dinner. Highly recommend!

The accommodation was very good, the room was large and the bed comfortable. The owner was attentive to everything. We also booked a safari through them; I would look for more options because the time was short for the price paid. The driver was excellent, and I might ask for a full‑day option next time. It isn’t in the centre (though there isn’t really a centre), but a tuk‑tuk to a restaurant is no problem.

You can do self‑check‑in if the staff aren’t there when you arrive. They’re very friendly and help with everything they can. We ordered dinner there and they prepared a great meal. Breakfast was also excellent. They organized the safari for us and everything was correct. Nothing to add.
