The location was definitely a plus, being quite central, and the initial cleanliness of the room was fine. I would suggest providing a broom or a Swiffer, as a longer stay in a seaside town with sand and hair would have made it essential to be able to clean the room yourself. The overall stay was disappointing; some expectations set by the description and photos of the accommodation did not match what we found upon arrival. The photos misled us: they showed a small living room with a sofa and stairs, giving the impression that these spaces were part of the booked accommodation, but in reality they were just the entrance to the building, from which the stairs lead to the private rooms. The listing should specify that that area is common space and not part of the room or booked accommodation. As presented, it can make guests think the accommodation has more rooms than actually available. The general description also made us think it was an apartment, but it turned out to be a room. Additionally, the two rooms had very different heat conditions: one had an air conditioner, the other only a fan. In the second room the heat was really bad and made the stay uncomfortable. For breakfast, there were three croissants and a coffee machine. Considering our 3‑day, 2‑night stay and the fact that daily cleaning was not provided, we would have expected, if we wanted to use breakfast, that there would be enough quantities for the entire duration, or that it would be clearly stated that breakfast was only for one day. The toilet paper supply could also be improved: there was only one roll. It would be preferable to leave a spare pack, even sealed, so guests can use it when needed without fuss.

I stayed with a friend at this place and everything was taken care of in every detail. The room was super clean and the host lady welcomed us wonderfully, offering us lemonade upon arrival. I highly recommend it for a stay in Ischia.
