“Terrible”

Location. It's mentioned on the booking details that there is parking available, which is totally false. I had to park a mile away on a side road. I was fist put on a ground floor room, the window was broken, then I was moved to 3rd floor room, now the lift is broken. The room was so tiny that you'll bump on something or other. The bathroom is actually a walk in shower with no shower door. And a commode. There were no glass to drink water and table was not cleaned. I won't stay in this hotel ever again. And you should be careful before booking

The spot is decent, but the toilet was dirty and the windowsill and windows were filthy; the staff pointed that out.

The location was spot‑on, and we’d stayed here for two nights before, but last year our booking was cancelled because the hotel was being used for students. During our most recent autumn/winter stay we were given a sea‑view room, which is why we booked again. The first room we got was bad, so we asked for a change and the staff managed to swap us, though it was tough because the hotel was nearly full. The safe in the new room didn’t work; we asked for it to be checked but nobody came, even though it was noted in the report book. We also had no kettle or hairdryer, which were later replaced. The hotel was occupied by about 45 students, mostly young teens who were noisy at night, which is expected, but I doubt this mix works well for other paying guests. Either run it exclusively for students or for paying guests; the two together don’t work.

We had towels, a kettle, tea, coffee, internet, and a good TV with various channels. The room was horrendously dirty: dust everywhere, sticky and filthy cups and spoons, a sticky and grimy sofa back, mold on the pillowcase and in the bathtub, the soap smelled like bleach, and everything felt dirty and unpleasant to touch.

“Zum Glück nur 1 Nacht.”

The location on the promenade is nice, but the place isn’t clean, has unpleasant smells, and the price is overpriced; it’s basically an untidy youth hostel.
