Guesthouse Raku

“We enjoyed our stay very much and found the accommodations comfortable and quiet.”

The property’s location is convenient, close to the train, restaurants, and convenience stores, and it was incredibly comfortable for our group of four—highly recommended with no complaints.

The accommodation was extremely comfortable and clean—the largest guesthouse we’ve stayed in Japan, featuring two bathroom basins that were great for a family of five. The location was lovely, with beautiful boulangeries, specialty coffee shops nearby, and just minutes’ walk to the metro and Imperial Gardens. We were personally greeted at check‑in and shown the room’s features instead of using self‑check‑in or express check‑in. We would definitely stay again if we’re lucky enough to return to Kyoto. The only downside was that the air‑con remotes were a bit tricky to use, though the air‑conditioner itself worked very well.

“We enjoyed our stay at guest house Raku.”

What i liked the most about the hotel, was looking down outside the window and watching everyone walk by. Written by Emily, (10)

“乳幼児がいたため、なかなか外食し辛いなか、とても楽しく過ごせました”

The appliances were all set up, so I could relax like at home. Every room was spacious, and the bathroom and toilet were clean and comfortable. The location was close to the station, which was convenient. However, the washing machine filter had accumulated trash. Because I had a baby, I asked to place the bed against the wall, which might have been a mistake, but the area I moved to was terribly dusty.
