Hill & Lake View Nainital

I had the room booked for 21 Oct 2025. On 20th morning I called and confirmed the room is ready next morning for check in. On 20th evening I got a call from the hotel Identifying as service manager Ms.Bhavana that the room is given to someone else and another room priced 25% more is available If I would pay for it in next half hour. When I reminded her that I booked through Bookin.com and the website of hotel says no advance payment. No credit card needed to Book. Pay at the property on arrival. The lady's reply indicated that it was a business Trick to increase business. She confirmed that the room I booked is gone. It put me to great stress as I booked the room 2 months in advance and I am an overseas traveller. Her threatening tone scared me and I didn't go to the hotel. Then I had to book a hotel through another booking platform paying higher rent just few hrs before I was to check in at Boho. I will recommend NOBODY SHOULD BOOK AT SUCH A HOTEL. They are thugs and thieves. They are a shame to the hundreds of good hotels in India. SHE EVEN SAID HAS NO BUSINESS TO TELL THEM HOW THEY CONDUCT BUSINESS. I SATYED IN 10 CITIES IN INDIA LAST MONTH AND THIS IS THE ONLY BLACK SHEEP HOTEL. Hotel Boho is a shame to India that is very famous for treating clients as honorable Guests

I booked for lake stays but was accommodated in Hill view at higher costs. No where they conformed my stay or entry in website

Location is great because it is very close to lake and Mall Road Balcony has lake views & food is tasty. Parking is about 100 metre frm hotel. So you can park there but car is safe there

Location was amazing. Hotel is built on a hilltop with amazing view of the lake(if lake view room is booked). Also, the surroundings is also amazing as the location is in mall road. Since the property is on the hilltop, personal vehicle is not advisable to be taken to the hotel as there are no parking facilities in the hotel. Parking is 2km away from the property and the parking charges must be borne by us. They will say like the parking charges are borne by them, but that's fake. 500 per day would be the parking charges. Also, they don't offer pickup drop facility. Only pickup from surroundings is done that too till 9.30pm only. If you have to go to the parking lot, you have to go by foot only. They don't offer valer parking as well. Totally disappointed
