The Bruntsfield Hotel, Edinburgh, is a townhouse hotel situated a short walk from Edinburgh city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It offers open views of Bruntsfield Links park and the Meadows park. Spacious bedrooms feature flat-screen TVs, work desks, seating areas, and private bathrooms. The hotel offers limited parking, electric vehicle charging, and super fast free WiFi in public areas and bedrooms.

The hotel sits in a cozy yet easily reachable part of Bruntsfield, offering comfortable and roomy rooms with very good, filling breakfasts. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotels in Edinburgh are generally pricey, but this one offers good value for money. The only downside was a kitchen ventilation shaft outside our window, so from 6am onwards there was a constant droning, ear‑drilling noise and cooking smells. Other minor issues: no fridge in the room, and a severe lack of hooks and hangers in the bathroom.

The location is about 20 minutes from the city centre or four bus stops away, which is a plus. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The bathrobe and slippers were a nice bonus. The building is old, so you can hear a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms and outside. The room was much smaller than what we had booked on Booking.
